Otter Cycling Trail along the Northeastern PCN
Observing nature whilst discovering the PCN from Changi to Punggol
The ride will be along the northeastern coastline of Singapore, which will feature several sites with otter presence. It will be a relaxing and fun ride, interspersed with pit stops where your friendly guides will introduce you to the wildlife in beat-up natural areas. Not to worry if you’re not a frequent cyclist, as long as you can ride a bicycle confidently (not wobbly cyclists), you’re invited!
The ride will be led by Meryl Theng, aka Ottergirl, who has conducted otter research in these areas. Assisted by Amanda Tan (aka Chicken Girl) and other guides, they will tell you stories about otters, red jungle fowl, mangroves and other wildlife.
We meet at Changi Village at 0800 SHARP to rent bicycles at Mr Bikes Enterprise (1 Changi Village Road #01-2050, Singapore 500001, directions below).
