ICCS Berlayar Creek Mangrove Cleanup: Registration for Toddycats is now open!

Toddycats! Join our International Coastal Cleanup Singapore efforts at Berlayar Creek mangrove on Saturday, 29th September 2012: 3pm – 6pm!

For the 21st International Coastal Cleanup Singapore, Raffles Museum Toddycats! will be tackling the trash at the Berlayar Creek mangroves. This strip of mangroves lies adjacent to Labrador Nature Reserve and Keppel Golf Links and is accessible via the Berlayar Creek Boardwalk which was opened at the start of this year. We are moving from Pandan mangrove after four years.

During the Site Recce on 10 Aug 2012, the trash consisted mainly of plastic bottles, food wrappers and golf balls.

The number of volunteers is limited to 20 and we will work carefully and sensibly in the mangroves. All volunteers will also be required to wear booties as we will be walking in mud and may sink ankle deep.

Registration is now open! Just fill in the form at: http://tinyurl.com/iccs-berlayarcreek2012 You will be informed of further details.
